About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to be the conduit between Council and Citywide for continuous improvement, strategic direction and asset management related to services delivered to the Bayside community. As such you will be based between Council and Citywide offices so a good knowledge of both local government and private business is essential.

About you:

  • Accountable for the safe operation of assigned portfolio, and to contribute towards safety and innovation initiatives throughout the business;
  • Based at Council offices be the primary point of contact between Council and Citywide supporting Citywide organizational goals and operational objectives;
  • Develop, review and update Continuous Improvement Plan on an annual basis
  • Report on current and previous years Continuous Improvement Plan;
  • Develop, review and update Playbooks on an annual basis;
  • Undertake regular asset audits including updating condition rating, data capture and reporting
  • Undertake analysis and reporting of contract performance and outcomes including customer satisfaction surveys and monitoring of KPIs;
  • Review of works schedules with team leads to deliver continuous improvement;
  • Proactively seek opportunities to reduce costs and improve services through research and recommendation of improved technologies and/or processes;
  • Report on emerging patterns, trends along with continuous improvement recommendations based on help desk request data;
  • Ensure an efficient and effective service is provided for Citywide and to the customer based on best practice and in accordance with work schedules, policies and procedures and contract specifications;
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement in asset management;
  • Build the Citywide brand relationship with clients as one of trust, understanding and service;
  • Explore and introduce innovative initiatives around amenity, climate change and circular economy;
  • Assist Operations Manager to report on contract performance;
  • Proactively address or escalate potential and actual issues;

 Essential Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification, project management or experience in similar role delivering continuous improvement and innovation to organizations and customers
  • Analytical thinker, excellent communicator
  • Ability to write high level reports and plans
  • Strong understanding of Excel, graphs
  • Experience in proactively participating in a positive safety culture
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Proven track record in delivering results through leadership of others;
