Human Resources Business Partner – 6 Months Fixed Term
Citywide have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR practitioner to assist our North West/Inner Melbourne operations managers, ensuring proper guidance and correct HR practices are followed. This is an exciting role for a Human Resources Business Partner who wants to make a real difference, both internally though your HR work and also externally in the community as a key member of the Citywide team.
This role is a 6 Month Fixed Contract, reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing advice and support to Management in relation to all aspects of the employment cycle.
- Assisting in driving internal change aligned with the business objectives.
- Building strong internal relationships with the management team.
- Actively participate in building a strong culture of safety internally.
- Providing leadership and support to management on all aspects of the employee relations cycle, particularly industrial relations and employee relations matters.
- Promote the development and implementation of best practice Human Resources strategies, policies, programs and procedures.
- Representing the organisation where required in negotiations with unions and employees.
- Oversee legal risk and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Fair Work Act and relevant Awards.
- Supporting managers with individual employee issues.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
- Experience in a similar Human Resources role.
- Ideally have experience across similar industries such as industrial or constructions for example.
- Hold relevant HR qualifications.
- Some experience with IR, ER and dealing with unions.
- Experience building strong internal relationships with managers.
- A positive attitude and team focus.
