Qualified Horticulturalist/General Labourer

Citywide Canberra are recruiting for a Qualified Horticulturist/General Labourer to join our team. This role will see you maintaining high profile gardens in some of Canberra`s most iconic locations.

• Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 3pm
• Friday 6.30am to 12.30pm
• Based at our Commonwealth Park Depot

 Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performing general open space works maintenance such as pruning, weeding, mowing, spraying, watering, mulching, planting and irrigation maintenance
• Establishing and maintenance of garden
• Routine parks and gardens maintenance
• Operate and maintain various horticultural machinery
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and experience required:

• 3-5 years' experience maintaining high quality landscapes
• Cert 3 Horticulture preferred
• Chemcert (Desirable)
• White Card
• Drivers Licence - Medium Rigid/Heavy Rigid (Desirable)
• Knowledge and appreciation of OH&S
