Citywide are recruiting for experienced Arborists/Tree Maintenance Team Members to join the Tree Services team based at our Kilsyth depot. Delivering scheduled maintenance and reactive requests, Citywide maximize the life of trees and parkland. You will be joining a team that undertakes the full scope of tree maintenance services including detailed condition audits, pruning, tree removal, travel tower work (EWP), electrical line clearance, chipper operation and stump removal.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing all aspects of tree maintenance/replacement works as required
- Ensuring work area is safe and setting up traffic management requirements
- Driving and maintaining heavy equipment in safe and professional manner (trailer mounted machine, light trucks, tip-truck)
- Updating and maintaining all records
Required Skills:
- Certificate III in Arboriculture preferred
- Previous experience in tree maintenance essential
- Current MR licence
- Chainsaw licence
- Certificate II ESI
- EWP experience
- Excellent work ethic
- A positive attitude
- Ability to work safely & promote safety in the workplace
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Experience dealing with customers, clients and members of the general public.
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
