Stump Grinder – Hallam

• Hallam Depot Location
• Mon to Fri – 6.30am to 2.36pm

Citywide are recruiting for an experienced Stump Grinder to work along closely with our Tree/Arb teams in the South East/Eastern Suburbs.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safe set up of work sites including prestart and traffic management requirements
• Review underground service documentation and visually inspect the site for any underground services or above ground infrastructure that may present a hazard
• Grind stump and any visible surface roots to required depth
• Ensure that required reinstatement standard is completed including spoil removal, adding topsoil, re-seeding etc.
• Operate, maintain and clean small fleet items
• Other duties as required within the scope of the role

Skill and experience required:

• Previous stump grinding experience
• MR Licence
• Cert III Arboriculture (Desirable)
• Chainsaw (Desirable)
• First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
• Traffic Management (Desirable)
• Experience dealing with customers and members of the general public
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
