Finance Business Partner
Citywide are recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner to work our Operational Leaders to deliver financial support and analysis that is aligned to the operational and financial objectives of the business.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build strong relationships across the business that enables management of the financial requirements of the assigned businesses.
- Mentor and train the business stakeholders in the management of their financial accountabilities which include budget and forecast management, billing and collections of outstanding invoices, WIP management, procurement etc.
- Provide financial modelling and other financial assistance to all the business unit’s tender proposals.
- Assist in compiling business case justification for capital expenditure requests.
- Assist in compiling contractual variation claims.
- Assist the corporate finance team with annual statutory requirements.
- Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the relevant business unit’s P&L.
- Monthly reporting and variance analysis against budget and forecast, including contract performance reviews, management reporting and balance sheet analysis.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports.
- Ensure that major change events are supported by appropriate financial analysis.
- Process monthly journal entries.
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Develop initiatives to improve processes and identify efficiencies.
- Other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- Prior business partnering experience
- CPA/CA qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer software skills including Excel
