Spraying Operators / Technicians – Parks and Open Space Maintenance – Port Phillip

• Monday to Friday – 6:30am to 2.36pm

Citywide is seeking expressions of interest from Spraying Operators & experienced Spray Technicians interested in weed spraying programs using Quad bikes and ATVs.

Working in our Open Space Team you will have the opportunity to make a difference and ensure the streets of Port Phillip are presented at their best. The ability to demonstrate a high standard of quality workmanship, train others whilst achieving client satisfaction will be essential.

The successful candidate will be provided with ongoing support and training to enhance their skills and develop their career.

Primary responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Herbicide spraying of streets and streetscapes. Including kerb and channel, tree plots, traffic treatments, footpaths and laneways.
• Record keeping using tablets and electronic devices.
• Non spraying days will include the manual and mechanical removal of weeds.
• Ensure work is always carried out in a safe and professional manner and that all vehicles and worksites are maintained to a high standard

Mandatory Skills:

• AGVET / ACUP licence
• Victorian Driver Licence / MR desirable
• A passion for working outside
• Strong reliable work ethic
• Excellent communications skills

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

• Traffic Management
• Police and Employment VIC Working with Children Check
